We have a pool

Well kinda have a pool :)

For xmas Maddison received a blow up pool from Deans mum, she wanted to make sure that it was big enough for us all to fit in it and brought an extra large one. I cannot believe how big this thing is but Maddison just loves it!!!

Here are some pictures of her enjoying it last weekend.

These were taken off my phone as by the time I went and got the camera we had turned off the hose and she wasn't having as much fun lol.

I hope you are all enjoying this awesome weather.

Summer Holidays almost over........

Every good thing has to come to an end :(

These holidays have been so much fun, my girl has loved getting out and about in the beautiful weather. I hope to still make the most of it once back in study by taking her out I'm the weekends etc before the weather turns ugly for winter in a few months.

Last weekend we had a great trip out to the Mission Bay markets where we had a nice lunch and a ice cream on the beach, it was really packed with people due to the great weather but we still had fun :)

Here a collage of pics I took on my phone as I stupidly forgot my camera :(

I am definately looking forward to getting back into my studies, it will be hard to adjust at first I reckon but hopefully the schedule won't be too hard. And routine is always good.

I hope that whatever the weather you are in at the moment you are making the most of time with your families and making great memories as I try to do on a regular basis :)

Welcome Back

Wow so looking through this blog it has been well over a year since I last made a post. Life just got in the way of me coming on and posting here how sad.

Well this year it is one of my goals to post regularly on this blog along with my other weightloss blog http://flab2fab-mum.blogspot.co.nz/ so you will see a lot more of me around here :)

I hope everyone had a wonder and fun xmas and new years eve with family and friends. My little family went up to Mahinepua for New Years Eve and a few days after which was very nice, here is a picture of the bay we camped on.

I will post some more of my favourite pictures from our trip into my new photography page when I have finished editing them all.

I have grand plans for my blogs this year and look forward to getting some time to sit down and do a big makeover especially on this one as it has been so neglected for so long :)

I thought I would share my 2014 goals here as I have on my other blog to help inspire others and be accountable for them so here they are:
  • Do at least 4 fun runs throughout the year
  • Fit into a size 14 comfortably.
  • Exercise regularly
  • Make healthy food choices
  • Attempt (and hopefully complete) climbing Mt Kilimanjaro
  • Take a photo everyday (this is about me completing Photo A Day through Fat Mum Slim follow my instagram rtob to see my pics)
  • Enter at least 2 photos into photography club 1 being of the set subject and 1 into open
  • Blog at least once every fortnight on each of my blogs (check out my other blog http://flab2fab-mum.blogspot.co.nz/ )
  • Make at least one item of clothing on my sewing machine
  • Learn to knit a basic beanie
  • Make time for family fun
  • Get into the garden for an hour or more each week
  • Keep a cleaning schedule and stick to it
  • Stick to the 2014 budget

  • I would love to know your goals and would also like some feedback on what you would like to see on this blog in the future :)

    Keep Rolling Rolling Rolling Rolling.......

Yay we have had a roll, well we have had heaps of rolls :)

I honestly had just got myself use to the fact that Maddison would never roll over and was talking to my bestie about how she might just go straight from sitting to crawling, Nek Minute she rolls over!!!

The next morning she decided that she wanted to roll onto her tummy and then didn't like it so rolled straight back and her dad got to see it all. I'm so proud!!!

I just love these milestones and seeing them, I can't believe how lucky I am able to be at home and see it when it happens first time and not later.

Outing to Omana Beach Regional Park Reserve

Today we had our first outing to Omana Beach Regional Park Reserve. What a great time we had, Maddison was so well behaved and seemed to really enjoy herself.  She had her first swing which she wasn't to fussed with but didn't get upset and we met some spring lambs and a Rabbit :)

This is just another reason why I am loving her age as these are all things she is seeing for the first time and she is old enough to start learning them unlike if she was a newborn and would not take to much notice. I always said I would like to have a summer baby next time but this is kind of making me change my mind a little.

I have to thank my bestie and her husband for inviting us on there family day out, living close has made such a difference to what me and Maddison can do as before we would not have been able to do this as it would have been just to far to travel.

Here are some pics of Maddison enjoying herself today.

    Six Months Old!!

Wow where has the time gone. I am loving this time sooo much....

In the last six months my life has changed completely, my daughter is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I just can't imagine what my life would be like without her.

Six months is so far my absolute favourite time, Maddison is now sitting up and playing with toys she is also getting her own great personality and loves to read stories and sing/dance with mummy. Im happy that shes not quite moving yet so I can still place her somewhere and know that she will stay there but I don't think this will last much longer as she is constantly on her side and again they say that the sitting on there own is the first step towards crawling (Scary!!!)

I just can't wait for everything in the next six months its such an amazing thing watching this little person growing up and learning.
