Yay we have had a roll, well we have had heaps of rolls :)
I honestly had just got myself use to the fact that Maddison would never roll over and was talking to my bestie about how she might just go straight from sitting to crawling, Nek Minute she rolls over!!!
The next morning she decided that she wanted to roll onto her tummy and then didn't like it so rolled straight back and her dad got to see it all. I'm so proud!!!
I just love these milestones and seeing them, I can't believe how lucky I am able to be at home and see it when it happens first time and not later.

Outing to Omana Beach Regional Park Reserve
Today we had our first outing to Omana Beach Regional Park Reserve. What a great time we had, Maddison was so well behaved and seemed to really enjoy herself. She had her first swing which she wasn't to fussed with but didn't get upset and we met some spring lambs and a Rabbit :)
This is just another reason why I am loving her age as these are all things she is seeing for the first time and she is old enough to start learning them unlike if she was a newborn and would not take to much notice. I always said I would like to have a summer baby next time but this is kind of making me change my mind a little.
I have to thank my bestie and her husband for inviting us on there family day out, living close has made such a difference to what me and Maddison can do as before we would not have been able to do this as it would have been just to far to travel.
Here are some pics of Maddison enjoying herself today.

Six Months Old!!
Wow where has the time gone. I am loving this time sooo much....
In the last six months my life has changed completely, my daughter is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I just can't imagine what my life would be like without her.
Six months is so far my absolute favourite time, Maddison is now sitting up and playing with toys she is also getting her own great personality and loves to read stories and sing/dance with mummy. Im happy that shes not quite moving yet so I can still place her somewhere and know that she will stay there but I don't think this will last much longer as she is constantly on her side and again they say that the sitting on there own is the first step towards crawling (Scary!!!)
I just can't wait for everything in the next six months its such an amazing thing watching this little person growing up and learning.

Back to normal ............. well sort of
Well after doing some work for my mums friend, buying a house and moving I finally have some time up my sleave to do a post. Sorry its been so long I really have been busy with everything :)
So as I said above in the last month we have brought a house and then two weeks later we moved in. We are now living closer to my family and friends and have a lovely big garden so I can grow heaps of fruit and veg.
Maddison has offically started to try solids but is not that keen on pureed food, I give her a small amount each day but I have also given her some toast with vegemite and she loves sucking on that. I made a rusk the otherday and we couldn't get it off her so i'm just going with the flow and seeing how she goes with the pureed food, around 7 months i'll try her on some mashed food as she might like that better.
Another change with Maddie is that she can now sit on her own and loves it, we are just waiting for her to roll, she is so close getting on her side all the time but she will do it in her own time :)
So I still have heaps of unpacking to do and Maddison is not in her own room yet as we want to paint it before she moves in so we still have a busy couple of weeks ahead of us but I will keep posting I aim to do at least once a week so lets see how we go.

Jolly Jumper
So we have found a new toy that keeps Maddison occupied for hours a day. The Jolly Jumper is such a great investment for any young bubba. See below a video of Maddison having a great time on her jumper.
As I am currently doing some work for my mums friend this blog wont be updated as much as I would like but after the next six weeks we'll be back to normal :)

A typical day in my home
Well we have reached the 3.5 month mark which means that I now have a lot more time on my hands during the day now that Maddison is over the wind/gas issues and sleeping more during the day.
A typical day at home for me now is:
Get up at 7am (or when Maddie wakes) and feeding Maddie. Playing or Reading until she gets tired which is usually after 1-1.5 hrs. Once she is asleep I have around 1.5-2 hrs to play with, I will usually have a shower and breakfast etc then do whatever cleaning needs doing for the day. Once Maddison is awake I feed her this is normally around 10-10.30am. We will then play again or read till about 12pm when Maddison is due for another sleep. I like to just chill out for this sleep which can last anywhere from 45 mins - 2.5 hours depending on how tired she is, my chill out time consists of looking at lots of crafty things online and playing facebook games usually, I will also have my lunch etc. Once Maddison is awake we will have another feed and then play until around 4pm when she goes back down. I will then do some more housework if needs be or do some baking. Dean arrives home around 5pm and Maddison is usually just waking up at this time. We are currently trying to get her to take a bottle so Dean has the lovely job of trying to get her to take the bottle which is currently very unsuccessful and she just screams the house down, I will get dinner ready and then we bath Maddie at around 6.15 I'll feed her and she should be going down around 7pm. After Maddison is asleep Dean and I will have dinner then we both get on the net or I will do my crafts. Bedtime for me is around 10.30 - 11pm where I will give Maddison a dream feed so she will last the whole night through.
As you can see I have lots of free time during the day at the moment with Maddison sleeping so much so I'm hoping that I can get a lot of my learning done for my sewing and crocheting before she starts to have less sleeps in a couple of months when I won't have so much time.
Heres a nice pic of me and Maddie at home :)

Baby Photos
I can not believe how many photos I take of my three month old
daughter..... Don't get me wrong to me my baby is the cutest baby ever and I
would like to document every moment possible, I do wonder though whether people
get sick of me posting all the random pics of her all over Facebook. I
personally love seeing all the pics of my friends babies but what about the
people that aren't into babies and they have to put up with there newsfeeds
covered in baby pics I do feel a little sorry for them.
The other day I was contemplating counting the amount of pictures I have taken but considering I take them with three different devices (My Camera, Deans Camera and IPad) I just couldn't really be bothered. I am guessing that in the first three months of my daughters life I have taken at least 200- 250 photos of her, obviously they are not all loaded onto facebook and there are plenty that will most likely be deleted once my partner will let me.
Maddison is so accustomed to the camera and IPad being pointed at her that she will always look in that direction (until something else takes her fancy) and every now and then I even get a good smile. I have to say though that catching a smile on camera has been relatively hard because as soon as I point the camera she looks and smiles but I have to wait for the camera to focus by then the smile has gone :(.
On that note please see the pic attached of my beautiful girl who turned three months old two Saturdays ago (30th June 2012) she is still as gorgeous as the day she was brought into this world if not more.
